Topic: Lighttpd - Good/bad? Compatibility?
So I was starting a new server up and wondering, Lighttpd vs Apache?
I hear lighttpd is a lot faster then apache, and uses a lot less resources, however I dunno as I haven't tried it.
Does lighttpd work with things like Cpanel or related?

im not sure but i think with lighttpd you just get basic hosting nothing fancy like apache.
with apache i think you'll have alot of ease installing things like php and phpnuke ect..

Re: Lighttpd - Good/bad? Compatibility?
Well I mostly use my own scripts, and PHP is easily installed to Lighttpd via a couple conf file edits
I am more worried about things like cPanel since I wish to start a hosting server.
