Several reasons why images are not allowed.

1. For security of all members. There are people who will imbed malware in their image and infect our members just by coming to this site.
2. People don't size their images appropriately and they are not simple, small in picture or data size. Those with slow or quota bandwidth are sucked into a vortex of heavy downloads just to use this site.

Sorry a setting left behind [img] tags are supported in signatures now.

Dammit! Why are personal signatures the only section that are not allowed to have /img tags?

People seriously cant be having that many loading problems?

Could someone please get back to me with why this is so?

For now I'll have to rely on a good old ASCII art style!
